.DISCUSSION... Issued at 1221 AM CDT Mon Sep 15 2025
Isolated to scattered showers will be possible once again today. Some shortwaves are expected to ride the eastern periphery of the aforementioned 700-850mb ridge that will continue to progress to the east coupled with the daily seabreeze and diurnal cycle, will lead to a low to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms through the week. Around midweek however, guidance is hinting at a potential surface low that will develop over eastern Mexico. This would provide more enhanced lift allowing for increased rain chances (30-50%) during the mid to latter portions of the week (Wed. and Thur.) Chances decrease at the conclusion of the week around 20-40%.
