.DISCUSSION... Issued at 1231 PM CDT Tue Sep 16 2025
Not much of a change from the previous forecast package. High pressure will stay in control aloft through the remainder of the week. However, there will still be daily chances for showers and thunderstorms (20-40%) as a few mid-level disturbances move through, interacting with daytime heating/instability and Gulf moisture. Aside from the rain chances, temperatures will run slightly above normal, with highs in the 90s and overnight lows ranging from the upper 60s to the low 70s inland.

.AVIATION... (18Z TAFS) Issued at 1231 PM CDT Tue Sep 16 2025
Mostly VFR conditions will prevail across area terminals through the cycle, with the exception of brief MVFR levels this afternoon at ALI/LRD sites owing to passing showers. Otherwise, expect a generally light and variable wind this afternoon and overnight.
&&
