A large positively tilted trough will slowly move east through the end of this week. Ahead of this system, a deep and moist southwest flow will continue to pump moisture into the area. This will continue to create scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms this evening. The coverage of showers and thunderstorms will decrease from west to east by Friday afternoon as the front moves east across the area and a drier airmass moves into the area. Most of the rain on Friday will be along and east of I-65. Dry conditions will continue through the middle of next week. High temps will warm back into the upper 80s and low 90s this weekend through next week with lower humidity. /13
