.DISCUSSION... Issued at 149 AM EDT Thu Sep 11 2025
Today will be the another of several days with high temperatures in the 80s and lows in the 50s. Given the continuing dry pattern with drought-like conditions, large temperature ranges will result. After morning lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s, high temperatures will top 80 degrees over almost all areas. Afternoon relative humidity values will fall below 40 percent.
This warm but tranquil pattern will prevail into early next week as a large positive height anomaly continues. 500 mb heights will be generally between 100 and 300 meters above normal from the Upper Great Lakes region toward the south end of the Hudson Bay. This large anomaly supports temperatures above to much above normal throughout the next 7 days. Highs each day will be in the 80s, and will likely approach 90 degrees in some areas nearly every day as ground conditions continue to dry out and allow some drought feedback into the lower atmosphere.

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z FRIDAY/... Issued at 1144 AM EDT Thu Sep 11 2025
Patches of mid clouds (mainly west of KSBN) continue to quickly dissipate with increased mixing underway. NAM Cu rule points towards a very stable layer across the area with satellite suggesting little more than a few high clouds. Will keep VFR conditions through the period, with generally light winds.
