High pressure will continue our pleasant and dry weather for another
day. Once again we will see mostly sunny skies and temperatures
still a few degrees below normal for this time of year. High
pressure will slowly continue to shift eastward allowing for our
winds to become more south to southeast. This will allow
temperatures to be a bit warmer than the past few days with
afternoon highs approaching the low to near 80 degrees. It remains
clear and with temperatures in the low to mid 50s overnight.

Overall, the forecast through the long term features dry conditions
with temperatures warming back to around 90 degrees. The upper air
pattern will feature an amplifying ridge developing over the central
CONUS and expanding northward towards the Upper Midwest and the Ohio
Valley. As this ridge expands, it will shift a shortwave trough axis
through the region on Thursday. The forecast still remains dry, but
as was mentioned in the previous discussion, there is a 10 percent
or less chance of seeing precipitation.
As heights increase with the building ridge, temperatures will start
to climb higher reaching the mid 80s for the middle of the week,
with mid/upper 80s for the end of the week and 90s returning by the
weekend. Maybe our best chance, as of now, for seeing any
precipitation comes early next week when a relatively weak cold
front works in from the northwest. Given the overall lack of
moisture associated with this system, PoP appear to be around 15 to
20 percent Monday into Tuesday. Temperatures remain warm but
slightly cooler, into the upper 80s.

Little to no change to the overall forecast as we remain VFR through
the period. Mainly calm winds overnight will shift more out of the
south to southeast to around 5 knots. No impacts expected in the
forecast.
