.AVIATION /00Z TAFS THROUGH 00Z FRIDAY/... Issued at 535 PM MDT Wed Sep 24 2025

Expect VFR conditions with clear skies and overall light winds under continued high pressure through the period.

.FIRE WEATHER... Issued at 1232 PM MDT Wed Sep 24 2025

Things look to remain dry across the region with above normal temperatures and no precip through at least the first half of the weekend. Afternoon RHs will drop to the 15-25 percent range each afternoon. By Sunday, moisture will begin to surge northward into the area ahead of an approaching upper level trough. This should allow for at least some isolated isolated shower/storm chances but much more widespread precipitation chances are expected beginning Monday and continuing into next week with widespread wetting rainfall looking very likely along with cooler temperatures. Winds look very light through the weekend but will likely increase early next week ahead of the aforementioned trough. Widespread rain and much cooler temps at that point should mitigate any fire weather concerns.
