.DISCUSSION... Issued at 235 AM EDT Sat Sep 27 2025

High pressure will remain at the surface through the period, with an upper level trough moving out by Sunday morning. A large omega blocking pattern develops, with a 590dam ridge extending from TX into the Great Lakes. This will linger all the way through next Friday. The impacts of PTC Nine and Humberto over the Atlantic will determine the overall pattern by Saturday, with some bringing the remnants of PTC Nine (possibly Hurricane Imelda) inland over the SE CONUS--developing a cut off low that extends into the Great Lakes, others keeping the ridge strong and steady over us and the low shunted further southeast. If the cut off low-like solution is correct, we could see some precipitation in mainly NW OH by Saturday afternoon or Sunday...however confidence is low.

High temperatures will linger in the 70s and low-mid 80s, with lows in the 50s-low 60s through midweek. We`ll dip into the mid-upper 40s Wednesday night into Friday night.

There could be some patchy fog this morning, however not as dense or widespread as yesterday.

.AVIATION /06Z TAFS THROUGH 06Z SUNDAY/... Issued at 537 AM EDT Sat Sep 27 2025

No changes needed for the 12Z TAFs. Quiet, dry weather is expected today and through much of the next 7 days thanks to a dominant upper level ridge pattern. Sparse areas of patchy ground fog are possible over the next few hours but restrictions to visibility will not be anything significant. Skies will be mostly clear and winds will be light and variable through late morning. Later in the day, winds will be light out of the southwest/west.
